Ithra Kurian is the leading the way towards becoming another popular Malayalam and Tamil actresses of all time. Her sensation work in acting is paving a notable reply from people all over the southern territory. She was basically born in Perumbavoor in the state of Kerala. Known to be as Dalma Kurian, her early life went as a successful model, which gave her a huge hype towards becoming a successful model turned actress later. She was then featured in a popular home magazine Grihalakshmi, after which she received another offer for the Tamil movie – Suryan Satta Kalloori in the year 2009. It was a lot budget movie, but however she was remarked not so good with her actions over the movie venture. She received another notable offer for the Malayalam movie – Gulumal: The Escape where she played a fantastic role in various characters and gained a lot of attention with her sizzling work that featured her to be among the top 10 actresses of the South Indian Cinema industry for the year 2009. The movie was turned to be the among the top 2 movies of the calendar year.
However her offers didn't stop, when the year 2010 turned out to be even more fantastic for her when she played a role in the Malayalam movie- Bodyguard as Sethulakshmi and won many laurels for her work. Surprisingly she was becoming the hot favourite for the Malayalam audiences day by day. Bodyguard was on for 4 continuous months and turned out to be a blockbuster movie by the year end. Her another big project was released in form of Malayalam movie – Raama Raavanan where she played a lead role and won the hearts of many critics.
Mithra's good work continued as she produced three magical movies in 2011 out of which two were Malayalam and one was a Tamil remake. Her two Malayalam movies went superhit with the continuous run of 100 days in the theatres while the Tamil remake- Kaavalan was a huge hit and success movie for her in 2011.
