Reema Sen is a well known South Indian(Telugu & Tamil) actress and model.
Reema Sen was born into a middle class family on October 29,1977 in Kolkata. Reema Sen completed her higher education at her home city Kolkata and after that her family moved to Mumbai.
Reema Sen started her career with modelling and acting in some advertising campaigns. Reema then turned gears and moved into films when she made her debut in a telugu movie Chitram opposite another debutant Uday Kiran. The film did well at box office. After that success,Reema Sen moved into kollywood industry with the film Minnale which is also very successful at box office.
She tried to enter Bollywood but her first Hindi film Hum Ho Gaye Aap Ke flopped, and she decided to continue working in Tamil cinema. Her latest movie Rendu was also a successful movie in the Tamil cinema. People found her facial expressions in the film Thimiru endearing and her horrific turn in Vallavan exposed her abilities in the histrionic department.
Actress Reema Sen has denied reports that appeared in a section of media that director Selvaraghavan has been putting more pressure on the cast of 'Aayirathil Oruvan' demanding better performances from them.
The movie features Karthi in the lead role and Parthiban reportedly plays a character with negative shades. The movie has been in the making for over a year and is still nearing the elusive completion stage.
'Selva is a cool guy. His working style is friendly. Many artists want to be part of his movies and I am one among them. The reports that claimed that Selva had tortured us during filming are totally false,' says Reema.
Meanwhile, Reema celebrated his birthday recently by taking a break from the shoot of 'Aayirathil Oruvan'. Shriya, Malavika and Meghna Naidu were the surprise guests who floored Reema by their presence.
